Stoney Morton and Corey Idrogo are the founders of CrossFit 10-99. 10-99 is the code for In Pursuit. What are you In Pursuit Of?
Stoney and Corey are both Army Veterans. Stoney starting crossfitting out of his garage in 2012 to help keep him in shape for full time job as a Law Enforcement officer and Corey stumbled into CrossFit in 2013 after seeing the life changing results his wife had after she started.
Our Goal: Our goal is to help you live a better life through fitness. We do this by focusing on getting you results and coaching you properly in a great facility with a friendly community.
Exercise has always been a passion of mine and I have been involved with it my entire life through sports and the military. I specialize in helping people get their lives back from injuries with chiropractic, manual therapy and active rehabilitation, but I knew there was something missing.
I started full time CrossFit in 2012. The community atmosphere was a great place to meet new people and have a great place to escape. CrossFit has helped prepare me for the demands of a career in Law Enforcement. From long hours to rescuing, chasing and the extreme physical exertion, my goal is to help all first responders be healthier and live better lifestyles. It's not a matter of IF but WHEN the job will ask you to give everything you've got. I want them all to be ready mentally and physically.
Owner/Coach
I began doing Crossfit in 2012 and have never looked back. I believe what drives Crossfit's success are the communities of similarly motivated individuals who are always willing to help each other push through to the next milestone. With over 15 years in law enforcement, I have seen and experienced, first-hand, how poor health and a lack of fitness can be a detriment to well being. I am so grateful to be able to continue to carry the torch for our founders, Stoney and Corey.
Coach
I am an Air Force Veteran. Author of two books, “K9 Korea” and “A Wonderful Preparation”. Dog trainer at “The Proper Pup”. I’m the mother of Jake, a Coast Guard veteran, and my two pups and three chickens. 😁 I’ve been coaching Crossfit and powerlifting for 5 years. I am also a breast cancer survivor!
Coach/HIIT
I moved to Chattanooga for college and grad school in 2009 and just never left! I started doing CrossFit in 2010 and started coaching in 2014. I work in insurance for my day job(aka less fun job). In my free time, I play volleyball, tennis, and ultimate frisbee, and I take my two crazy pups on hikes and runs. I have loved the community of friends and family that CrossFit has brought me over the years, and I'm excited to be a part of that with 10-99.
My name is Coach Brooke! I am married to Coach Corey and we moved to Chattanooga three years ago by way of Chicago. I am originally from West Virginia. I went to school at West Liberty University where I ran track and got my degree to become a dental hygienist. After college, I was more focused on my career that I rarely worked out consistently. It was while Corey was in school to become a chiropractor that I started CrossFit in 2010....More
I started my CrossFit Journey in May 2019 with CrossFit 1099 and never left! You can find me there (probably) any day of the week! I help out coaching typically around lunch time for open gym but will probably see me in the evenings as well with my wife, LIbby Hawthorne. I came onto the 1099 team as a coach in July of 2020. I moved to Chattanooga in 2011, from Franklin, TN, to go to college at UT...More

Tuesday & Thursday @ 5:30pm
We love CrossFit but sometimes we need a change up on the intensity. We have created a full body strength and hypertrophy program like CrossFit but down in Intensity. There will still be some familiar CrossFit style programming (think AMRAPS and EMOMS) but with more focus on controlling movement patterns and developing accessory strength. This will be a learning process as we introduce more weightlifting movements not as common in our traditional CrossFit programming so come ready to learn and get stronger.
